Pastured Pork

We could understand that someone might be asking, “what exactly is pastured pork, and what are the benefits of buying it over grocery store pork?”

At Rolling Hills Farm we talk a lot about “grass-fed and pasture raised” meat products. We use the term “pastured’ when referring to our hogs to minimize confusion. Our hogs roam free in carefully managed ½ acre paddocks eating grass, roots, acorns, and all that nature intended. Our hogs enjoy the natural spring water and are offered a feed that we have specially made by a local farm, and of course, it is free of all unnatural additives.
